Jason McGarraugh, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner lives in Katy, TX with his wife Liz and daughter Morgan.  He is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Master of Science degree in Financial Planning and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

 

Prior to joining Neal Financial Group in 2006, Jason ran a financial planning practice in Fort Worth for three years. After Graduate School he was the Associate Director of Educational Programs for Financial Perspectives School of Finance in Singapore. His primary focus was teaching the Fundamentals of Financial Planning and Fundamentals of Investments courses for Singapore’s Certified Financial Planner™ examinations.

While attending Graduate School at Texas Tech University Jason had the unique opportunity to assist in the creation of Red to Black, a financial counseling program within the university. Red to Black continues to provide free financial education and counseling for university students, faculty and staff.

 

Jason was born and raised in Perryton, Texas deep in the Texas Panhandle where he grew up on a farm that has been in his family for four generations.  Jason’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, snow skiing and hiking.
