Koy has served individuals and families in the financial services industry for over 20 years. He has worked for corporate, non-profit, and private companies as a financial planning advisor. He believed they were good companies, but he knew he needed greater latitude to find the best opportunities for his clients. Koy decided to search for a new private firm and found an ideal fit for both him and his clients with The Neal Financial Group at LPL Financial.

Koy completed Rice University’s financial planning program and he received a Master of Science degree from the University of Alabama with an emphasis in Family Financial Planning and Counseling. He is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Certified Funds Specialist (CFS), holds a series 6, 63, 65, and 7 registrations with LPL Financial, and maintains a Life, Health, and Variable insurance license with the state of Texas.

One of the things Koy loves about financial planning is the unique opportunity that it gives him to serve others. He really enjoys getting to know his clients on a personal level and walking with them through the seasons of their lives. Koy has real passion for the great outdoors and he loves being involved with local ministries. Koy and his wife, Marsha, live in Rosehill, Texas. They love their church, time with family and friends, spending time in the country, and good theatre. From 2006-2018, Koy volunteered and served as a part-time high school theatre director, teacher, and speech coach, and he was selected as the 2017 TAPPS statewide 6A Fine Arts Teacher of the Year.
